Specialist Advisors is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Mepstead as chair.

Stephen brings considerable executive-level industry experience in broad financial markets, including as a Lloyds name of the London Metal Exchange and as a derivatives trader and Director of Dean Whitter Reynolds (Now Morgan Stanley) with assets of £14bn.

After launching his own business interests, Stephen acquired experience in international markets including BVI, Cyprus and as a resident in Switzerland.

Following a move to Abu Dhabi, where he consulted with a derivatives house helping build the business to US$5bn, he formed London-based TA3 Ltd focusing on corporate investment, seed fundraising and associated consulting services. This FCA business was associated with MJ Hudson, a law asset management company with 2bn assets under management.

His business focus remains global and in high demand by businesses seeking to attract capital for growth and/or mentoring by an established business executive.
